What is the difference between Respite, Hospice and Recovery Care?

Respite Care, also known as the gift of time, allows caregivers free time for themselves while their loved one is supervised. This time can be used to run errands, pay bills, see a doctors, etc. Respite care also provides activites and recreation for your loved one which is vital to keep your loved one alert.

Hospice care is for the loved one with a terminal or chronic medical condition. At this stage, comfort is the main component to good in-home health care.

Recovery care is for the loved one who has recently had a surgery or temporary medical crisis. Your loved one is encouraged and motivated to resume their independent living skills.

Can I afford in-home health care?

Home health care is 65% to 70% less than medical facilities.  Most long-term insurance policies provide for in-home care for those who need it. In the event of private pay clients, Creative Family Care, Inc. has many affordable and flexible care packages available to fit your individual needs.
